My day started off around 3:30 with a quick ride on the sky ride then I headed back to the back of the park to see Live Music at the Palace, and compared to Molly and Maverick, this show sucked!
This was the first time I saw it so I didn’t think it was that bad, but I went back another day and there was a girl also singing and the guy was singing the same songs that “people requested” the last time I saw the show.
Hopefully this show will not return or it will changed to something better. After that, I headed down the Frontier Trail to see Got Country.
Then after Got Country I went to see my second favorite show last year, and it was great! It moved up to my #1 favorite show for the summer. I heard that a lot of people didn’t like the new ending song, but after seeing it all summer, it grew on me and I loved it!
After Signed, Sealed, Delivered I took a quick dinner break at the car and then I headed over to the Wicked Twister Midway for a trip to Alaska on Disaster Transport and then a relaxing ride on the Space Spiral and the Giant Wheel.
Wicked Twister was down for the night, so I passed that and headed to the Frontier Trail so I could film the setup of the Starlight Experience.
After that I went on a car ride on the Antique Cars and then headed down the Frontier Trail to experience the Starlight Experience after dark.
Then I headed over to the Wildcat Midway to see Hot Summer Lights.
If that wasn’t a fun enough day I ended it with a photo session in the Starlight Experience by putting it on a fence post and placing it on fireworks setting to get some pretty cool pics.
We that was my trip.

I arrived at the park around 6pm to enjoy a Friday night of late fun. As soon as I got there, it started raining!
After a short downpour, it stopped and the rides reopened. My first stop was Got Country. After the show I headed back to Frontier Town and rode the Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Antique Cars, and then Mean Streak.
Then it was onto my first Paddlewheel ride of the season, which was not good, the new captains still have a lot to learn!
Night was falling and it was on to see the Starlight Experience for the first time. I thought it was pretty neat all of the lights and floats!
Just a quick, but fun Friday night trip!

The next few posts are probably going to be trip reports from my Cedar Point summer trips. Each trip report has pictures, videos, and ride and show counts along with a detailed summery of the day. Yes, I know that there a little, or very, late, but it’s just the thing to get you out of those midwinter coaster blues!
Enjoy and be sure to post comments and if it’s a question, I will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.

Coming soon to DrewBorg.com is ConvALL: The Everything Converter! We hope to have it released in beta on New Years Day!
The basic concept of ConvALL is to convert all major file types: music, movies, pictures, and office documents in one place for FREE. Yep! We’re going to be the one and only web converter on the web that converts video in the highest quality available for FREE!
What happens is that you upload your file, select what you want it to convert to, and click convert. The file will convert, this could take up to 24hrs based on the number of users converting files. We hope to make this quicker in future releases. Then check your e-mail, and the file will be sent to you. If the file is under 20MB, it will be attached to the email as well as a link to our download site. If it’s over 20MB, the file will be uploaded to our ConvALL download center, for you to download it. Right now there is a 100MB (110MB MAX) limit for files.
In the future, we hope to have a payed PRO version of the converter to be used for things like maximum file sizes of 500MB, stored uploads, and more. The payed version will only be used for unneeded extras and will not be required for basic conversions.
Also, for all of you who love to download movies and music from YouTube and other video sites, we are working on a mini app for the converter that allows the converter to download the MP4 or FLV file of the movie to our site where it will then be available for conversion with out converter.
We also want to open up API in the future so that you guys can create “mini apps” for the converter.
So far we have designed the converter for the look and we are now working on making it work so it can convert files and send it back to you through e-mail. We hope you all are as excited as we are for this new converter, we will keep you updated through twitter and this blog.

On August 1st I went to downtown Akron for their Artwalk. There were lots of places to see artwork throughout the city including live glass blowing demonstrations.
There was even a free trolley service to all of the locations.
There were also some neat street performers…
…and a live band!
