Cleveland Zoo Dinosaurs
Back in June I had the chance to visit the Cleveland Zoo and see there Dinosaur exhibit.
The animatronic dinosaurs, including several “babies,” roar and move just like they did millions of years ago. Each dinosaur is built on a steel frame by Billings Productions of McKinney, Texas, and covered with intricately painted foam rubber as skin. State-of-the-art electronics and air pistons power the dinosaurs’ movements, and a booming sound system gives them their voices.
The Dinosaurs exhibit is just $1 per person with regular Zoo admission and free for Zoo members and children under 2. The exhibit is open daily from Thursday, May 21, through Sunday, September 13.
Enjoy some pictures that I took…
A walk around Cleveland
In this blog I will showcase some more photos that were taken on free admission to the Rock Hall day.
Let’s start with the Free Stamp as featured in the book Weird Ohio.
Next on the walk was the Cleveland Brown’s Stadium…
Then the final turn in my loop was the Great Lakes Science Center…
At the end of my loop is this skate park next the the Rock Hall…
…and the Goodtime III boat.
And finally, I leave you with a picture of Cleveland…
That about wraps it up for this blog, everyone is welcome to comment below.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2009
Yesterday was induction day in Cleveland and because of this the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame had a FREE ADMISSION TO EVERYONE day. So, I went with my family all the way to Cleveland.
We got to tour the exhibits and then when we were leaving, we got to see Bobby Womack. I don’t know who he is, just that he’s famous and a 2009 inductee.
After we left, we took a quick walk over to where the inductions were going to happen later that night.
